Reggae Knights

3-piece covers band Reggae Knights came together in 2013 to bring some reggae joy to the pubs and clubs of North Wales.

Congolese drummer, percussionist and vocalist, well known across the UK for his work with pan-African soukous star Kanda Bongo Man, Felix Ngindu holds the rock steady, ska and one-drop grooves on the drum kit.

Lead vocalist and guitarist, former actor Aidan Williams, son of the principal violinist of the London Symphony Orchestra, learned music theory from the classical greats while secretly hanging out in the dub-reggae cellars of London, and learning hardcore reggae skanking from London’s Jamaican community, much to his father’s dismay!

Session muso and multi -instrumentalist Yates used to be the linch-pin horns and keys man in Lighthouse Family, Black Grape, Brand New Heavies and more recently Elbow and Katie Meluah. His reggae credentials include gigs with Gregory Isaacs, Yellowman, and Ragga Twins.

This 3 piece band sound more like a 10 piece live, creating their huge sound using real-time live layered loops and 3-part harmony vocals.
