Young cooks can join local chef Mama Basu to rustle up a fragrant Moroccan speciality.
Mama Basu – aka Debjani – has traveled widely through South East Asia which has influenced her style of cooking.
For Gwledd Conwy Feast she will be helping budding chefs to create a delicious Chickpea Tagine.
This nice and spicey dish from north Africa is popular around the world. Ingredients include chickpeas – regarded as a modern day super food – dried fruits to substitute sugar, fresh local vegetables and a touch of aromatic spices and herbs. Delicious!
